Nilufer Mistry Sheasby is an Intern at Bravo Victor Venture Capital and a junior at Harvard University, where she studies Sino-American security competition through the lens of dual-use technology development โ how commercial innovation and state strategy converge to shape the balance of power between the United States and its competitors.
At BVVC, Nilufer builds the company profiles and market research behind the firm’s diligence, maps investor landscapes for the funds’ capital formation efforts, and produces the long-form analysis and summary material used across data rooms and limited partner communications.
She has contributed to projects with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, the Hudson Institute, Taiwan’s Institute for National Defense and Security Research, and Joint Special Operations Command. That range โ Washington think tanks, a frontline democracy’s national security institute, and an operational special operations command โ has given her a practical view of how policy analysis becomes capability, and where it fails to.
Nilufer applies that perspective across BVVC’s national security and advanced manufacturing focus areas, where the questions she studies academically are the same ones determining which companies matter.
